Also, in the Brick, Prouvaire speaks around four languages, doesn’t he? Sometimes when I’ve been studying Japanese for hours, I’ll switch between languages/alphabets subconsciously when I speak or write, without realizing I’m doing it. I wonder what the others’ reactions would be if Prouvaire suddenly started speaking in another language, or used different grammar structures, and the like. To be honest, I think at some point, they’d just get used to it. Oh look, Prouvaire is speaking a foreign language again. Marius, can you translate?
